Masters football
Some things only get better with age. Masters Football at Currimundi United is proof of that.
Our Over 35s and Over 45s competitions are some of the most celebrated and well-loved parts of the club — a place where experience counts, friendships run deep, and the love of the game never fades. If you think your best football days are behind you, come down to Frank McIvor Park and think again.
OVER 35’s - STILL GOING STRONG
The Over 35s competition at CUFC is everything grassroots football should be. Competitive enough to get the blood pumping, social enough to keep you smiling all week. These are players who have grown up with the game and aren’t ready to let it go — and why would they?
Whether you’ve been playing continuously for decades or you’re making a long-awaited comeback, the Over 35s is the perfect home. The standard is high, the banter is better, and the sense of belonging is something you won’t find anywhere else.
over 45’s - legends of the game
The Over 45s is where legends are made — or at least, where they’ll tell you they were made. This competition is a celebration of everything that keeps people coming back to football year after year: the movement, the competition, the mates, and the stories.
Don’t let the age group fool you. The Over 45s at Currimundi United is played with real heart, real skill, and real pride. These players have earned every grey hair on that pitch, and they wear the Green and Gold with every bit as much passion as any team in the club.
MORE THAN A GAME - A WAY OF LIFE
For many of our Masters players, CUFC isn’t just a football club — it’s a community they’ve been part of for years, sometimes decades. The friendships forged in these competitions go well beyond the final whistle, and the culture within our Masters groups is something truly special.
Staying active, staying connected, and staying competitive — that’s what Masters Football at Currimundi United is all about.
